1.6T Hybrid Joins the Minivan Lineup New Gen
At the Carnival's mid-cycle refresh, Kia added a 1.6L turbo-hybrid producing about 242 hp combined. The hybrid trades the V6's long spark-plug interval for a turbo engine that needs plugs sooner, and adds high-voltage battery and inverter inspections; regenerative braking helps extend front-pad life.
