New Fascias, 12" Display, First Carnival Hybrid Maintenance
The mid-cycle refresh brought new fascias and a 12-inch display, and introduced the first Carnival Hybrid on its own dedicated schedule page. The gas V6's routine service items are unchanged.
2022 — New Nameplate
Carnival Replaces the Sedona New Gen
The Carnival minivan replaced the Sedona with a 287-hp 3.5L V6, FWD only — no AWD or differential service on any Carnival. Routine oil and rotation lands every 8,000 miles or 12 months; cabin filter follows a time-based inspect/replace cycle (~24 months); engine air filter similarly time-based (~36 months); spark plugs come due at 96,000 miles on the long-interval V6; brake fluid replaces every 48,000 miles or 48 months; first coolant change isn't due until 120,000 miles.
