2nd Generation — 2027 to Present

How the Schedule Has Changed Over Time

2027 — New Generation
All-New 2nd-Gen Seltos Adds the First Seltos Hybrid New Gen
The larger, redesigned 2nd-generation Seltos arrives with the brand's first Seltos hybrid variant, bringing hybrid-specific service items to the lineup alongside the familiar gas schedule.
2024 — Facelift
1.6T Switches to an 8-Speed Automatic Transmission Change
The refreshed Seltos moves the 1.6L turbo from a 175-hp 7-speed dual-clutch to a 195-hp 8-speed automatic — a transmission-type change with different fluid-service needs — and adds the X-Line trim.
2021 — US Launch
Seltos Arrives With Two Engine Choices New Gen
The subcompact Seltos launched with a 2.0L MPI (CVT) and a 1.6L turbo-GDI (dual-clutch). Both engines use a timing chain rather than a belt, so there's no belt-replacement interval to plan for. Routine oil and rotation lands every 8,000 miles on the 2.0L or every 6,000 miles on the 1.6T — the turbo runs a shorter interval; cabin filter follows a time-based inspect/replace cycle; engine air filter at 30,000; spark plugs come due at 96,000 miles on the 2.0L or 42,000 miles on the 1.6T; brake fluid replaces every 48,000 miles or 48 months; first coolant change at 120,000 miles.

Seltos Maintenance FAQs

Where's the Seltos Schedule for My Year?

Select 2021–2027 for oil and rotation, filters, spark plugs, coolant, and AWD driveline service.

Do the 2.0L and Turbo Seltos Have the Same Service?

No — the turbo runs shorter oil (6,000 vs. 8,000 miles) and spark-plug (42,000 vs. 96,000 miles) intervals on pre-2024 cars, though both use a timing chain with no belt to replace. The 1.6T's transmission also changed in 2024, so fluid service may differ by year; ask your advisor to confirm for your VIN.
