2024 — Facelift
LED Lighting & NVH Upgrades Maintenance
The mid-cycle facelift brought LED lighting, larger screens, and noise/vibration improvements. The factory schedule carried over unchanged from the launch model years.
2021 — New Generation
4th-Gen MQ4 Launches With Two Engine Choices New Gen
The MQ4 Sorento launched with the 191-hp 2.5L GDI and the 281-hp 2.5L turbo-GDI, plus Hybrid and PHEV variants sold under their own model pages. Routine service lands every 8,000 miles or 12 months on both engines; cabin filter inspects at 7,500 miles and replaces every 30,000 miles; AWD rear-differential fluid inspected at 40,000; spark plugs come due at 96,000 miles on the 2.5L or 48,000 miles on the 2.5L turbo; brake fluid replaces every 48,000 miles or 48 months; first coolant change isn't due until 120,000 miles.
