Select Your Model Year

Each year links to its full interval-by-interval schedule. Every year also has its own recall history — worth a check while you’re here.

How the Schedule Has Changed Over Time

2024 — Facelift
LED Lighting & NVH Upgrades Maintenance
The mid-cycle facelift brought LED lighting, larger screens, and noise/vibration improvements to the whole Sorento lineup, including the Hybrid.
2022 — Sorento Plug-In Hybrid Launches
Plug-In Hybrid Joins the MQ4 Lineup New Gen
The MQ4 Sorento added a 1.6L turbo-GDI plug-in hybrid — a larger high-voltage battery and an onboard charger give it electric-only driving range on top of the hybrid system. First engine coolant change lands at 120,000 miles; the high-voltage inverter coolant loop runs on its own, shorter schedule and doesn’t share that figure. Regenerative braking extends front-pad life versus the gas Sorento, and the 1.6L turbo takes spark plugs at 48,000 miles.

Sorento Plug-In Hybrid Maintenance FAQs

Where's the Sorento Plug-In Hybrid Schedule for My Year?⌄

Select 2022–2027 for oil and rotation, filters, brake fluid, spark plugs, coolant, and high-voltage battery service.

Does the Hybrid Need Different Service Than the Gas Sorento?⌄

It shares most intervals but adds a separate high-voltage inverter coolant loop, distinct from the 120,000-mile engine coolant change; regenerative braking extends pad life, and the 1.6L turbo needs spark plugs at 48,000 miles.

Is the Hybrid Battery Covered?⌄

Yes — a 10-year/100,000-mile high-voltage battery warranty (at least 70% capacity) plus the powertrain warranty. See Warranty Forever for details.
