How the Schedule Has Changed Over Time

2023 — New Generation
All-New NQ5 Sportage Debuts With Hybrid & PHEV Siblings New Gen
The larger, all-new NQ5 Sportage launched with a single naturally-aspirated 2.5L GDI gas engine (the 1.6L turbo moved to the separate Hybrid and PHEV lines). The current generation's oil and rotation interval is 8,000 miles — longer than the outgoing generation's 7,500-mile cadence. Cabin air filter, AWD driveline check, spark plugs, and first coolant change follow the Kia gas-engine schedule.
