With the all-new NQ5 Sportage, the plug-in hybrid variant added a larger high-voltage battery and an onboard charger on top of the 1.6L turbo-hybrid powertrain. Charging-system inspections join the hybrid's battery and inverter coolant checks, and regenerative braking helps extend front-pad life.
