2026 EV9 FAQs
How Much Does the 2026 Kia EV9 Cost?⌄
The 2026 EV9 starts at $54,900 MSRP for the Light RWD and runs to $71,900 for the GT-Line AWD, excluding $1,645 destination. See live EV9 inventory for today’s transaction pricing with current offers applied.
What’s New on the 2026 EV9?⌄
The EV9 largely carries over for its third model year, but several trims picked up more range: Light Long Range is now rated to an estimated 305 miles, Wind and Land to 283 miles, and GT-Line to 280 miles. Kia also added a new Nightfall Edition package on the Land AWD trim with gloss-black wheels, badging, and trim, offered in 6- or 7-passenger seating at no extra cost.
Is There a 2026 Kia EV9 GT?⌄
Not for sale in the U.S. right now. Kia has delayed the high-performance EV9 GT indefinitely for the American market — its motors and trim are sourced from South Korea and remain subject to import tariffs even after a reduced U.S.-Korea trade rate. GT-Line, built at Kia’s Georgia plant, is the sportiest EV9 you can actually buy today.
How Much Can the 2026 EV9 Tow?⌄
AWD models (Wind, Land, GT-Line) are rated to tow up to 3,500 pounds standard, and up to 5,000 pounds with the optional tow package and a braked trailer. RWD models (Light, Light Long Range) are rated to 2,000 pounds. All EV9 configurations are limited to about 1,653 pounds with an unbraked trailer.
